A bit about myself
I first got in to radio controlled cars way back in 1985, competing in many events through the 15 years I raced. My first taste of engineering was way back when my father got me two Lister "D" Type engines to work on. This kept me busy as a young lad and was the start to my intrest in engines.
Then I got in to road cars when I passed my driving test back in 1994. Since then I've been building other interesting projects as well as cars, including the successful mk1 and mk2 jet karts

I have always had a soft spot for the classic mini and the fascination for speed.
Classic minis are big part of my life and having two magazine featured cars backs up that fact. I don't come from a engineering background and all my skills are self taught.
I've always had commitment in past and present projects and this includes my new venture, project 998t, which I believe will be a success.
I always think it's not just about how fast you can go, or even winning, its the taking part and being there that counts.
It's about having a dream and going for it !!!!
